Oduwa Agboneni was born in the ancient city of Benin- City, Edo State. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Benin and a Masters in Geoinformatics Information Technology from the University of Lagos.

She is an advocate for gender equality and extremely passionate about her trade assiduously to promote a positive representation of women in Engineering. Her driving force is to increase the self-confidence of women through automotive care knowledge.

Her business mission for Nenis Auto Care is to deliver high quality automotive management services to females between the ages of 18 to 60 years and corporate organisations in Lagos in honesty and integrity, with state of the art technology and where users can opt for an onsite or off-site service at their own convenience and comfort. Her mission is to empower and enlighten her clients to take active role in maintaining their vehicles and to encourage other women to pursue a career in the automotive industry.

Oduwa maintains a glowing passion for her work and ensures that results are constantly improving. She is a 2018 Hilary Clinton Vital Voices Global Partnership Fellow, 2018 Rise Up Fellow funded by Cummins Inc. and Ford Foundation, 2015 Tony Elumelu Foundation Alumni, 2016 President Obama’s Young Africa Leader, 2016 World bank WomenX Entrepreneur, 2017 Bank of Industry Youth Enterprise Support Programme Entrepreneur, Life member of Enterprise Development Centre, and a two time (2017 and 2018) Royal Academy of Engineering UK grant winner for GCRF Africa Catalyst Scheme.

She is a Registered Member, The Council for The Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria(COREN), Corporate Member, The Nigerian Society of Engineers(NSE), Corporate Member, The Automotive Engineers Institute (AutoEI), Corporate Member, The Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers (NiMechE), Corporate Member, The Association of Professional Women Engineers in Nigeria(APWEN), Technical Professional, The National Society of Black Engineers(NSBE).

Nenis Auto Care (NAC) is a family-owned, female run and operated female friendly business set up to bring professionalism into the automotive garage industry. It’s no secret most women have a bad experience in auto garages – they feel ripped off or intimidated and also have the impression that auto garages are poorly run by uneducated professionals. We are changing that.Based on our research, we found out that women find visits to automobile garages scary. it scary going to an automobile garage. This is why NAC operate a female friendly policy and run basic vehicle maintenance classes for ladies. NAC opened for business January 2015 to provide quality auto repairs. Since our humble beginnings, we have grown to acquire a loyal base of returning customers – females, males and organisations. We also believe that customers, male or female deserves a first class service – hence we have technicians you can trust with your keys. We have offer quality workmanship and friendly service.
